Your unique 7-digit Rx number is printed directly beneath the MedFront emblem on your medicine bottle, topical pump dispenser, or blister card label (e.g., Rx # 6894921).

Compounding is the art and science of preparing customized medications tailored specifically to an individual patient’s unique physiological needs. We adjust exact strength, eliminate unwanted allergens or dyes, and create specialized dosage forms (such as troches, transdermal gels, or dye-free liquids).

Compounded medications are customized preparations formulated upon the prescription of a licensed practitioner. Under Section 503A of the FD&C Act, individual compounded formulations are not evaluated or approved by the FDA as mass pharmaceuticals, but MedFront strictly adheres to Texas State Pharmacy Board regulations and USP <795>, <797>, and <800> quality standards.

Our 503A laboratory atelier prepares custom slow-release oral capsules, sublingual troches, transdermal PLO gels and creams, dye-free oral suspensions, rapid-dissolve tablets, and veterinary-specific chewable treats.

Yes! You are always welcome to pick up your completed prescription in person at our Dallas atelier located at 4041 W Wheatland Rd, Ste 204, Dallas, TX 75247. Curbside pickup is also available upon arrival.

Many commercial insurance plans cover standard prescriptions and select compounded ingredients. When a pharmacy benefit manager does not directly process a compounding claim, MedFront provides itemized Universal Claim Forms (CMS-1500) with NDC numbers for direct patient reimbursement.
